Final playing exam:

7  minutes long, sign up on Phillips' studio door.
Play 3 scales, chromatic scale from low F to F above the staff and back down, quarter = 76
Perform a brief warm up to include lip slurs, articulation excercieses and legato tonguing
Perform from the beginning down to the trio of the Vander Cook solo "Garnet" from the Gem Series

Let's talk about Marching Band!!!! We will discuss how these aspects of your job reflect on pedagogy and the current trend of performance to "medal."

- Study and review binder materials.  Looking it up is okay but knowing it is even better!

-Review "Student Expectations" listed in Week 8 files.
