Presentation - in class - 4 minutes.
Each of you have been assigned a portion of the above timeline - hyperlinks are active.
Construct an outline (PDF, Word) to be handed to the class of the following:
1) Cite 3 significant events in history that coordinate with a performance, composition, or pedagogical/repertoire event in trombone development.
2) Cite 3 significant works that document the use of trombone (concerti, choral works, orchestral, wind band, alta banda, court performances)
3) Discuss briefly any traditions, trends, interesting or emerging pedagogy or performance practices during your assigned historical timeline.
4) You are free to use musical examples, art work, videos or any media available during your presentation.
Printed outline to be distributed in class to everyone, then uploaded on Canvas. I will share your reports in Canvas prior to the final exam.
